A manufactory village built on the doorstep of the Deepen Mountains. It’s perimeter is walled in soul cast rock which towers indomitably over the quaint homestead nestled within. Millstone was originally constructed as a mining facility, harvesting rich ores and minerals from the mountain caverns and then transporting these to the golden capital, Middenheim. It wasn’t until Lyra made a trade agreement with Gimlot that dwarves shared their knowledge of technology and crafting with the Lyrian people. Now the manufactories, from which billows great gouts of smoke and fumes, work tirelessly to construct automated clankers (10 ft tall armoured suits, with the strength of giants). Artisans search frantically for new energy sources to power these mechanised giants.
The village was recently defended by a group of unknown adventurers who emerged mysteriously from the depths of The Deepen Mountains. Collapsing the ancient Eastdoor and bringing the dwarven stone down upon the heads of an organised darklinoid invasion army, not only proved to be the salvation of Millstone but probably of the Lyrian economy as well.
